There will come dark shadows
Both great and small
As despair's rising engulfs the world
Peace and hope
Will vanish like summer rains
And winter's chill touch
Will embrace the hearts of all
Pain filled nights await my return
To shadow's dark game
And I can hope for nothing more
Then perhaps an early grave
A death to take me from this world
Of being Shadow's pawn
And the Light's last hope
So accept my fall from grace
And let me find peace in the worlds beyond
